Out of Hospital Birth

Home birth has been around since people started giving birth. For low-risk pregnancies, this is still possible.

Ask today if an out-of-hospital birth is the right option for you.

Midwives are trained to know normal birth. They will transfer appropriately to higher medical care as necessary.

In Washington State, licensed midwives can carry an assortment of medications, including oxygen, IV fluids, antibiotics, emergency medications for bleeding, etc.

We monitor you and the baby during labor to assess the safety and provide a low-intervention birth environment. We welcome family participation in the whole process.

We offer water birth, parents/siblings catching their baby, delayed cord clamping, cord burning, lotus birth, and much more.
