I come from a family of 6 kids. I have been married for 15 years and have 3 children of my own. About 10 years ago I went to school and became a Medical Assistant and worked in the OB/GYN field for 7 years. The whole time there, I always felt like I was missing something and there was something I still needed to do. On and off through the years, I've looked into midwifery, but never had the courage to apply to a school and go forth with my dream.

The summer of 2017 I decided to just do it! With only a couple people knowing, I worked on my application, turned it in, and prayed hard. Now I look at my life and I can't believe the dream I'm living. What an honor to be able to serve the women in my community, to make an impact, to be able to bless them and learn so much from them!

I finished up my Bachelor's degree in 2021. I have worked with a few preceptors in the past 2.5 years and have had the honor of attending and assisting with over 150 births. With each passing day I see more and more that this is where I belong.

I strongly believe that this is where I'm meant to be and serve. I'm blessed to be working with an amazing community that has welcomed me as a midwife with arms wide open.

Thank you for allowing me to serve you!
